What is it about maps that we love so much? Is it the colors, the textures, the information?
How about all of the above! On the page above Jodi used an image of a map and the 2x4 Angles Die to frame her focal photo.
You can use maps that are printed in your scrapbooks, or use our favorite source - take a picture of the maps you see in magazines, brochures, on signs, or even in your road map books.
Whatever reason you love maps, they make great additions to scrapbook pages. To see more fabulous page ideas using maps, click the button below.
The sizing of the squares are different this time around; and, we will have dies that fit!
Use the calendars to showcase a month or just a week. Jodi created a whole month calendar page for November. Notice how she mixed up each day - using different pattern paper, numbers of the dates, pictures, journaling, or die cut embellishments. The extra space at the end of the month wasn't
neglected either - she was able to place another bit of patterned paper to add to the fall theme.
Don't you love how many of her calendar squares have embossed stitching around them?
Calendar Created by Paije Potter
Paije incorporated maps on her layout - this is a great way to show where you went during your trip!
Paije used the calendar to show a fun week in Washington. She added handwritten Journaling to her numbered spots. Did you notice how she let many of her photos extend two or three design spots? You can use any amount of space you want for your layouts. You don't have to only do whole month layouts with the Calendar pages and dies. You can choose any amount of time for any number of trips.
It's up to you what your Calendar pages will look like -- and the skies's the limit!
The Calendar System will be Available in October!
Last Splash Sale Starts Friday!
It's that time of year!
The Last Splash Sale will feature many of the dies that are leaving us (at least for now) - including the Diamond Mine die collection.
Using maps on your layouts is a fantastic way to add a strong design element to your scrapbook pages!
Be sure to share your pages, (see below for details) because we love to see where you have traveled!
Happy Scrappin'
