Mosaic Moments has so many great circle dies (see one in the example above). You are going to love getting into shapes with us!
Tami grabs our attention, on her page above, by using the 4x4 Circle Frame and Flowers Die, to soften the center of this symmetrical pattern. Framing the center photo in a circle adds contrast to the design.
Try rounding out your next scrapbook page by including contrasting shapes.
"Summer at Mount Rainier" by Paije Potter- Pattern #602
Circles and round shapes are perfect on the featured grid collection of the month, Nantucket, too!
The collection includes Sea Glass, Ferry Ride, Reflection, Red Tides, Beachgrass, and Twine Mosaic Moments™ Grid Paper (12 sheets of paper total). You can always get each color individually in packs of six sheets. The colors all have "speckles" which adds texture and interest to your layouts.
Isn't this layout on Twine grid paper, by Paije, such an interesting way to get "a round" the grid with the Half Circle Die? Did you notice how she added the wood grain textured patterned paper in between the circles of her dies?
Look at how beautiful this layout turned out with July's Freebies, plus Paije showed a new journaling idea!
This month, Paije used her photo app to type up the journaling right on her photos. Did you know you could do that? It's a great option because it takes less time to embellish, plus it doesn't take up extra room on your layout.
Awesome right?! We hope you are keeping track of each month's journaling ideas.
August's Freebie of the month is an adorable bear collecting flowers and an August calendar, drawn by artist Lisa Glanz.
These two printed 2x2 squares come free with any order in August. They make excellent embellishments for your month in review pages. Collect all twelve and you will have a full set -- perfect for a year in review album!
Getting "a round" the grid is enjoyable and interesting.
Circles add contrast and interest to those squares and rectangles on your Mosaic Moments pages. Such a simple shape has a huge impact for your eyes. If you need more inspiration, click any of the links above or head to the Pattern Gallery to see more examples.
Try your hand at getting "a round" the grid by using round and circular dies on your next project.
Happy Scrapping!
