MOSAIC MOMENTS® PRESENTS:
"Hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains" by Paije Potter - Pattern #315 (adjusted)
Hello
We live on a big beautiful rock we love, called Earth. Earth Day is coming up on Thursday, April 22, 2021! Celebrate our planet by getting into nature and enjoying the beauty around you. Take lots of pictures! Then make fabulous layouts to remember!
SnapFix is celebrating Earth Day this week by focusing on layouts themed around Nature. Above is a new strip layout by Paije. Look at those gorgeous mountains!
Being in nature gives you good vibes, doesn't it? You feel refreshed and rejuvenated. For Earth Day we encourage you to get out there and catch those good vibes. Paije caught those vibes on her kayak trip on the river (page shown above). She used the Vibes 1x2 Die which comes in a
set of five dies, to embellish her page. What a fantastic picture of an osprey nest!

"Exploring the Uintas" by Jodi Benson - Pattern #200
This Thursday, be sure to grab the New & Limited Edition Earth Day Trio Pack. The Earth Day pack will contain Forest, Fresh Malt, and Olive. We chose these colors because they are great with nature photos.
Get this pack during the Earth Day Sale starting on Thursday morning!
Jodi created a lovely nature layout about a hike in the Uintas. She used the Forest Border Die Set to cut embellishments. It comes with three dies; a 1x4, a 1x3, and a 1x1. Jodi used the two 1x4s at the top of her page. She double matted two of her favorite photos. And
she set it all on a sheet of 12x12 Forest Grid Paper. Try a nature layout of your own with the Earth Day Trio Pack!

"Jackson Lake Lodge" by Tami Potter - Pattern #292
Does the word serenity come to mind when you look at this layout? Tami captured this scene near Jackson Hole in Wyoming back in 2008 after dropping her oldest daughter off at college. Later, she was able to combine her photos and made them into a beautiful panorama - don't you feel like you are standing in that spot yourself?
Here is a note from Tami about this photo spot:
"There are certain places in this world where I can easily feel that sense of serenity. One is when I am surrounded by nature.
There is nothing quite like sitting at the edge of the ocean or in the middle of a field that seems to have no beginning or end. Growing up in the west, wide open spaces were never far away; however, I have found that no matter where I am, I can find a piece
of nature."
Tami Created this Layout in 2009!
GRID WORK OF THE WEEK
"Osprey Nests" by Paije Potter - Pattern #394 & #414 (adjusted)
To celebrate Earth Day, we have a fun assignment for you this week! Get outside - whether it be in your own backyard or a nature park in your community and take photos of nature. Photograph all the plants and flowers that are grown in your area, the wildlife, and the landscape! We love our beautiful Earth and love to document the nature around us here in Virginia! After you have taken your photos, create a layout featuring them.
For this assignment, you are welcome to copy the two-page spread above. On this layout, Paije used the Vibes dies, which work wonderfully with many photo themes! Paije featured photos of osprey that can be found along the James River in
Williamsburg.
Once you have created your page, we would love to see it! Share it with us on the Crop and Share Facebook Group. Click below to join:
