Hello Day 4 of our Countdown!! It is getting close!!!
If you are just seeing our emails we are having a daily email countdown until our big Die Sale! Every email has a new theme to get everyone excited for our dies and our huge Die Sale! Today is all about our Soleil and Angle Dies. Soleil
Dies create a circle and our Angle Dies create diamonds. Soleil and Angles are really great for filling in those 2x6 spaces on the grid. There are so many ways to use them. Scroll down to see our pages!
DAY 4
Circles vs. Diamonds
"Sisters & Bridesmaids" by Jodi Benson - Similar to Pattern #611
Our Soleil Die Set is shown above (with 2x6 Option). Soleil Die Set comes with one 2x6 and three 2x2 dies that create different shaped circles on the grid. There are many ways to use them. Jodi put the 2x6 Soleil dies together using patterned paper to form her circle.
Paije created this awesome layout featuring the 2x6 Angles Die. We love how easy it is to make a large diamond on your grid. She filled the triangle spots of her die with bright photos from the museum which makes the diamond shape stand out!
The first layout featured the Soleil 2x6. Look at this page featuring the Soleil 2x2 Dies. They both create the
same arch shape but the 2x2 dies break each side down into three different elements. Look how Jodi used two complimentary patterned papers for her dies. It is a great Mosaic Moments layout!
You can see here that you can make a smaller diamond shape if you bring the 2x4 Angles Die closer to the center. The strawberry pictures make a lovely diamond frame for Danielle's focal point, her little berry picker!
Another Circle!
"Tredegar Ironworks" by Paije Potter
This layout features the Soleil 2x2 die. We love how Paije distressed her paper to really show off the Soleil Die! It fits perfectly with her page the "Tredegar Ironworks". Mosaic Moments dies work with every style of scrapbooking. The 2x2 Soleil die works great with the brick photos as well. Use it with paper or photos.
Mix and match the angles! This layout features both the 2x6 and 2x4 Angles dies. Together they still make a great diamond! This is a really stunning page despite how simple it is. We love the detail shot of the wood pieces! Don't forget to get those close-up
textures.
