MOSAIC MOMENTS® PRESENTS:
3 Days until our Gratitude Sale begins
and our NEW Die is revealed
Hello
It is said that wonderful things often come in small packages. Likewise, when scrapbooking, little pieces can make a huge impact. Check out what we mean, below.
Day 3
Small Pieces - BIG impressions
Round Out the Spots
"Wildflowers" by Jodi Benson - Free-styled Layout
One of the latest dies released in 2020 was the Perfect Spot Die Set. This unique set comes with pieces to create spots wherever you want on your layout. It works much like a puzzle that you can piece together however you choose. We love how the people are framed in a spot in
the center of the layout above. And, the flowers flowing into the design on the edges are a great touch.
Show the Love
"Lavender Love" by Jodi Benson -Based on Pattern #543
This design, also using the Perfect Spot Dies is, well, perfect for showcasing the kids in smaller photos with the larger mosaics around them. The entire page revolves around love, created using one of the four Perfect Spot Insert Dies, sold separately.
Put the Hearts in Between
"Disney 2020" by Tami Potter - Pattern #101
Another new dies set this year, as well as a new design concept, is the Between the Hearts Dies. This die set allows you to place hearts over the grid lines in between the photos. The set includes heart outlines and solid hearts so you can layer them up, like Paije did, here. By the
way, this set is also phenomenal on greeting cards.
The Soft Corner Grid Die is great for creating large mosaic designs. The Soft Corner Grid Pieces were redesigned this year so they are easier to
work with. The set includes dies that cut the little corners, shown in red above, as well as the circles in between, filled with adorable surf boards above. It also comes with the layering pieces so you can frame out your photos. Amazing!
Surround it in Dots
"Blowing Bubbles" by Danielle Lawson - Pattern #402
More new fun came this year with the arrival of the On the Dot Collection. This set offers the ability to mix-and-match pieces to create as many dots as you desire. It's a fun way to frame a center photo or draw the eye from picture to picture. I also think it would make great journaling
boxes -- especially if you need a lot of words to tell the story.
Make a Perfect Dot for a Title
"Relax" by Jodi Benson - Pattern #598 (slightly adjusted)
And, we all fell in love when we saw this brilliant use of the On the Dot Collection by Jodi. It's perfect for a one-word title. To create it, Jodi repeated the On
the Dot 2x4 and 1x4 Dies across the layout. Then, she used the circle die that comes with the On the Dot 4x4 to create a dot for her letters. Can't you see this with the word Santa spelled out!?
