Smart ways to fill small spots
Add a Cool Vibe
"OBX Trip" by Paije - Pattern #460
The Vibes Dies are perfect for filling in small spaces. These dies, new in 2020, come in a variety of sizes. They are a nice alternative to flowers and can work with any theme. We love how Paije placed rainbow paper behind them in this layout.
Craft a Border
"City Museum - St. Louis" by Danielle Lawson - Pattern #589
The Craftsman Dies were also new this year. Reminiscent of the 1910s bungalow houses, these dies offer a masculine and hand-crafted feel. They can resemble stained-glass windows, architecture, or just provide a fun accent to the page. We love how this layout includes tiny photos in the
center of the die cuts. Cool!
Set the Mood
"Snorkeling" by Danielle Lawson - Pattern #543
Decorative dies can set the mood or theme of your layout. These dies might include holiday images, hearts, or seasonal designs, like the Under the Sea Die Set, also new in 2020, used here. We love all of the colors and accents used in this layout.
Get in Gear
"Chocolate Emporium" by Paije Potter - Pattern #270
Gears are another die set that are fun to fill in all of the little spaces. They work well with anything mechanical, like the layout above. You can also use them for a motorcycle ride, getting a driver's license, attending a classic car show, or anything masculine.
Pop in a Bit of Paradise
"Volcano Bay" by Paije Potter - Pattern #526
Adding the Palm Trio Die, or a tropical flower, is a fun way to fill in extra space on a beach layout.
Fill a Basket
"Easter Dress" by Jodi Benson - Pattern #306
The Basket Die, released in 2020, is a great 2x2 die that is perfect to fill in small spaces. It is designed to use for Easter, but it can easily be converted into a cauldron for Halloween, a container of gold for St. Patrick's Day, or a picnic basket for a summer adventure. You might even use it on a farm page when raising chickens and collecting their eggs for breakfast.
