MOSAIC MOMENTS® PRESENTS:
5 Days until our Gratitude Sale begins
and our NEW Die is available!
Hello
There are a plethora of ways to create a focal point on the center of your layout. Today, we are sharing some dies that draw the eye right in and make that center photo something really special.
Day 5
Centered Focal Photos
Start with Daybreak
"Engaged" by Jodi Benson - Pattern #477
How beautiful is this center photo?! New for 2020, the Daybreak Die offers lots of unique ways to frame a photo. Simply change out the papers and highlight different parts of your photo. This one is amazing on greeting cards, as well.
Surround in Angles
"Strawberry Picking" by Danielle Lawson - Pattern #478 (slightly adjusted)
The 2x4 Angles Die is a budget-friendly die that packs a huge punch. Look at how incredible it looks surrounding the center photo! Fill it in with close-up photos, pattern paper or cardstock for a great look.
Explore the X-Factor
"Siblings" by Danielle Lawson - Pattern #581
The X-Factor Collection can take your layouts to the next level. These dies visually connect with each other, taking the eye from one photo to the next, and allowing you to create all sorts of shapes and patterns. How incredible is this giant diamond created with cardstock and a photo of brick?
WOW!
Puff it Up
"Paris - the Bird" by Paije Potter - Pattern #344
The Puff 'N Stuff Die is another budget friendly die with lots of possibilities. By simply rotating it and placing it on each side of the center photo, you have a beautiful, feminine frame for your photo.
Mix Diamond Mine and X-Factor
"Magic Hour" by Paije Potter - Pattern #478 (slightly adjusted)
Many of the die collections can be mixed together to create new shapes. Here, Paije combined the X-Factor Dies with Diamond Mine Dies for a fun garden frame around the center
photo.
Round it Out with Soleil
"Pandora" by Paije Potter - Free-styled Layout
The Soleil Die Set creates a giant circle on your layout, with plenty of room for pictures in the center. This one is beautifully framed on the outside with close-ups of foliage. It is a great idea for a trip to the botanical gardens or vacation photos. But, you might try
this one with close-ups of the Christmas tree, around the edges, for the holidays.
Surround it in Corners
"Easter Sunday" by Jodi Benson - Free-styled Pattern
This layout is so beautiful, it could serve as art on the wall. And, while it looks complex, it is really easy to create with the Corner Strips Die and the Corner Connector
Die. Each of these dies cut four pieces at once, so the die cutting goes quickly. We love how Jodi alternated photos and patterned paper on this one. Such a beautiful frame!
