We are one day closer to the big die reveal! To keep your creative juices flowing, we have some unique ways to add a photo mat, today. Check it out below.
Scallops can add a feminine or elegant touch to a layout. This year, we introduced new Scallop Mats. These mats come in a variety of sizes that mix-and-match with the Basic Die Sets for all sorts of layering fun. Notice how many mat layers are on some of these
photos.
Scallops were also released in circle shapes. Cutting a photo into a circle is a beautiful way to frame a face (or two) or to showcase a special detail. Adding the Scallop Circles is another way to add layers of fun.
Pattern paper, when combined with Basic Dies and the Layering Die Bundle can create amazing photo mats.
Just look at how fabulous the focal photo is with paper from Simple Stories!
For a truly unique design, have your photo printed multiple times and cut each one a different size. Then, mat them with the Layering Bundle Dies and stack them back up. It's amazing!
Carry a Title through Mats
"Lucky Seven" by Paije Potter
For this layout, Paije cut a long strip for her title. She then placed it over some of her center photo mats and under others. It's a great idea to tie it all in together. She used Alphabet 4 to finish it off.
