They just take a little more planning and thinking in order to have the layout turn out the way you wish. For example, the layout above uses strips and strip frame dies. You have to be mindful of how these will cut so you do not cut the words or faces in half.

To blend your photos together simply means to place similar colors and shades next to each other so the photos appear to be one large photo. For example, notice at the top of this layout how Jodi combined three different photos into one beautiful beach scene.
