Using the same colors, papers and shapes on two different layouts is an easy way to create a two-page spread. The "white" space, which is actually brown, on the larger Vibes Die on the right layout balances nicely with the white journaling block on the left side. Those three elements pull the eye around the layout, even though they aren't the same.
