Have you tried bullet journaling? Put simply, bullet journaling is more like making a list. You can record your memories without writing complete sentences, like Danielle did on the left side of her layout, above. Or, you can compose a list, like she did on the right side of her layout. While bullet journaling works on any size grid paper, it works exceptionally well on 8.5x11" grid paper, shown in the layout above.
Bullet journaling can be done on the computer, like Danielle did above, or by hand, like Jodi did here. It's a fun way to record the highlights quickly and easily.
