Valentine's Day is just around the corner and we thought it would be fun to send handmade greetings this year. After all, nothing shows how much you love someone than to spend your time making them a personalized gift.

Send Your LoveÂ
Â
How beautiful is this Valentine's Day card? The Puff N Stuff Die makes a beautiful design in the center, simply by duplicating it with the mirrored version. While this one is geared toward Valentine's, you could use stickers or stamps to place any message on it. It's perfect
whenever you need an elegant card.
Â
SnapFix Tip:Â Take a close-up photo of a bouquet of flowers for a beautiful background. You might also try chocolates or conversation hearts, heart confetti, lace doilies, or even sprinkles for a unique background.
Â
Creating Valentine's Day cards is easier than you may think if you use Grid Cards, Mosaic Moments Dies, and adorable patterned papers. Grid Cards are
printed with the same grid lines you use on your scrapbook pages on 110-pound cardstock -- much thicker than most used by commercial greeting-card companies. The cards also come with envelopes and seals.
Â
Grid Cards fit any die that covers 4 squares by 6 squares, or anything smaller. As with scrapbooking, the only rule is to cover all of those grid lines, which you can do with cardstock, photos or patterned paper. Then, you can add embellishments to make special. (Just keep in mind that the U.S. Post Office charges extra postage for dimensional elements, like buttons, gems and brads.)

For Valentine's Day, try glitter, foil, velvet or mirror papers to really make them elegant and fun. You may even add a bit of ribbon or lace. Check out some of our ideas below ...
