"Christmas Around EPCOT" by Paije Potter - Pattern #475
How clever is this idea ... create a strip of photos at both the top and bottom of your layout. Then use patterned paper and an oval die to create a focal point in the center. This allows your eye a place to rest and prevents the page from becoming too busy -- even though you have included 11 photos on the layout.
SnapFixTip: Add pieces from your dies, like the little snowflakes here, to dress up the paper a bit. To replicate in a different season, try leaves, seashells or flowers.

When you don't have a lot of photos, add dies to fill in the spaces. We love how Jodi used the numbers and Holly Borders Set to add a festive date to her layout.
SnapFix Tip: Most die cuts can be left open, so you see the background behind them. But, you can also cut the dies out of different papers and fill in the little pieces, like Jodi did above. Or, you might even back the die cuts in white and then use a marker, glitter glue or another medium to color them
in.
Andrea has so many ideas of things you can do with your Mosaic Moments Dies during the holidays, she combined two posts into one this week! First, you can learn how to use your dies to decorate a cute little wooden box to look like a house. (She turned hers into an advent calendar). Then, she shows you how to create an adorable mini album on the Grid. Click the red box below to see
