The Mosaic Moments Double-Sided, Self-Healing Mat is perfect for cutting. It's 14" x 14" size means your entire 12x12 page fits comfortably on the mat.
It features 1/8" grid lines in both directions, all the way across the mat. (most mats only give you 1/4" lines). Enhanced lines at the 1/2" mark and 1" mark make it easy to get to the exact measurement.

The back side of the mat has a special grid that cuts larger photos, sized to
fit our grid paper, eliminating the need to count or do math at all. It also has a handy quick grid guide. Check out the video below to see how it works.

Create Long
Borders
When you want a border that goes the entire length of your layout, you need
the mat to cut it. Use repositionable adhesive to hold your paper in place, line your ruler up on the mark, and cut. It's that easy.
Go Off the
Grid
Sometimes we need to escape and head off the grid. On this layout, the bottom
right photo does just that, continuing right over to the edge of paper. This cut is easy with the Mosaic Moments mat.
Create a
Panorama
If you are combining multiple photos to create a panorama and your horizons do
not line up perfectly, it is easier to cut the photos by hand using the Mosaic Moments mat than it is to try to line it up with the dies. Learn how by watching the video below.
With the Mosaic Moments mat, you can cut your photos as large as you wish.
Then, you can lay overlap the larger photo onto other photos, or let elements on your page cross over onto the larger photo. You are free to do whatever you choose!

When you want to create an interesting design on your layout with patterned
paper and have it all line up and match perfectly, it might be quicker to grab the mat and cut away. Notice how nicely the border at the top of this layout matches up. It was cut by hand.

By using the Mosaic Moments mat, you can customize the width of your strips.
Notice how beautifully this is done on the layout above ... the bride's portion of the photo is kept wider to accommodate her. No one wants a fragmented bride! Then, the remaining strips are cut as we typically do at 1-inch increments.
