Hey there
You've mastered the Mosaic Moments basics and you're ready for Adventure! That's great, because today we are highlighting some of our favorite Adventure - Level 3 dies.
Adventure - Level 3 means you are going to need to do a little more planning and take a little more time putting your pages together than you did with Levels 1 (Explore) & 2 (Discover) dies. But, we think you will agree, the results are amazing and well worth your efforts.
Our Adventure - Level 3 dies features the dies that cut an
outline that can be filled in with either photos or paper. They require a little more thinking, planning, and time putting together; but they create absolutely stunning pages. These are not the designs for those wanting quick-and-easy layouts; but, they are perfect for memories you feel are worthy of a little extra time for a ton of extra wow!
X-Factor
Collection
This collection creates amazing lines across your layout. Depending on
which dies in the collection you use, you can make it fit just about any theme.
Similar to the X-Factor Collection, the Diamond Mine Collection is a set of
dies that can be mixed and matched to create all sorts of diamond shapes on your layout. We love this design which makes a giant diamond border, but scroll down for some additional possibilities.
The Diamond Mine Collection was used on this page to create a small
diamond focal point, surrounded by beautiful landscape photos.
Swap out the dies again and you have a design perfect for close-ups.
This design would also be cute with those photos at the beach or in the snow where the kids are way far away.
Pie Die
This incredible die set allows you to fit 12 pictures on a single layout. Use it
to make your 2019 year-in-review page! It is a great way to show 4 different seasons or slice up the moments in a single day. You can also have fun with the circle shape. Have a ball creating pages for sporting events or a day at the beach with this die set.
The Sweetheart Dies combine to create intertwined hearts. It's perfect for
wedding, anniversary and engagement photos. But, it works with anything you love -- pets, hobbies, family, travel ... even your hometown.
You can also use the Sweetheart Dies to make elegant borders on the
edges of your pages.
And, when you don't want the subtle heart theme at all, use the
4x4 center die to create fabulous graphical lines and show off tons of little image details.
Puff N Stuff
It resembles a puffy cloud, but the Puff N Stuff die can be turned and repeated
to create a beautiful focal point on your layout.
Bonus Tip ... when working with these outline dies, it pays to take a
piece of leftover cardstock, cut it the same size as the overall die, and use it as a backing. Adhering the outline cut paper to a piece cardstock (verses directly on your grid) may seem like a wasted step; but, it makes repositioning a whole lot easier, and it ensures that pieces will fit perfectly in the outline.
