Are you new to Mosaic Moments? Perhaps you've seen what beautiful
layouts can be created and you're ready to jump in and try it for yourself? Or, maybe you have played with it a bit and are ready to start building your collection of dies?
Then, get ready to Explore Mosaic Moments with these Level One products:
Basic Die
Bundles
First, you must have the Basic Bundle. This set includes all of the basic
squares and rectangles you need to create layouts with the Mosaic Moments system, plus it includes nested dies to create photo mats.
Yes, it is an investment, but you can create thousands of layouts with just this set and never get bored. Just look at some of the pages below.
Nested dies are included with the Basic Bundle dies. These dies allow
you to cut your photo a bit smaller and then cut a photo mat to perfectly fit the grid.
A wide variety of sizes of squares and rectangles are included in the
bundle, so you always have a die to fit the shape you need.
Grid Paper
Next, you must have Grid Paper. It is absolutely essential to Mosaic Moments and
is both the base of every layout and the key to making a beautiful page. The front side of each 12x12 sheet has grid lines to create straight, evenly spaced designs. The back side is plain so you can cut it up and use it for photo mats, die cuts, titles and accents on your layouts.
Next, you will want to create titles and add letters and numbers to your
designs. By using the Mosaic Moments dies, you will always have the size that fits perfectly in a 1-inch square. And, since you cut it yourself, the color will always be the perfect shade and you will never run out of "e's". These dies will essentially pay for themselves over time with the money you will save from not buying sticker letters.
Once you have those basics, Grid Paper, the Basic Bundle Dies and alphabet dies,
consider buying a frame. Frame dies come in squares, ovals, circles and even arches, in a variety of sizes. They help break out some of the lines on the layout, create focal points, and add fun, elegance and creativity all on their own.
And, with all of the basics under your belt, it's time to add some fun and
personality to your designs. Accent dies come in two sizes -- 2x2 squares and 1x3 squares -- ideal for filling in the little places left over on a layout after larger photos are placed. Many of the accent dies coordinate with the seasons, including ornaments, sand
castles, hearts, flowers and snowflakes. But there are also gears, filmstrips, stars, stamps and a whole collection of architectural and graphic designs.
