Alphabet and numbers sets are easy ways to create titles,
short journaling or the date or age to a layout. (see the entire layout below). If this wasn't in a child's album, you could easily add the person's name, as well.
When space is at a premium, use the letters without their 1-inch square background. You can cram a lot of letters into a really small space, like the word "Food Festival" above.
