Shhh ... I have a secret! It's a secret sneak peek at the new Circle Grid Die! This die is sure to be one of those "game changers" in the world of Mosaics. Because now, you can create dozens of 1-inch circles with a single pass through your die-cutting machine. Just what does one do with dozens of circles? Well, take a look below and find out.
Cutting photos into a round mosaic pattern may have seemed daunting before. Now, it only takes a few quick trips through the die-cutting machine with the new 1x1" Grid & Circles Die. The die cuts 24 circles and grids at once -- so you can choose which one you use.
SnapFixTip: Add some white space when you have a busy layout, like Paije did with the Bracket dies above. No, white space doesn't have to be white. It's just a term used for a nice resting place for the eye. Any soft pattern or solid color will work.
Here, Jodi used the Circle Tiles to cut baby's breath flowers as an accent on this newborn page. Imagine how pretty it would be if you took photos of all of the flowers received while in the hospital or at a funeral. You could also do something similar with birthday candles, leaves or even produce.
SnapFix Tip: Not every photo has to be matted. When you have such calm photos, like these close ups, using different colors to mat photos and leaving some unmatted adds some interest to the page and helps your eye move about.
Andrea used the new Circle Grid Die to create a bubbly title. See how she did it, as well as the SECOND page to the layout by clicking on the blue box below.
