Who doesn't want a personalized card with pictures of them? Using their photos makes them more likely to hang on to your masterpiece.
SnapFixTip: Because the cards are made on the same Grid Paper we use in our scrapbooks, all of the Mosaic Moments dies work. Go ahead and create layers. It only adds interest to your card.
These cards are easily created with coordinating papers and stickers. Use up what you have left over, or try a 6x6 paper pad to get a variety of patterns.
SnapFixTip: Incorporate white in your design to blend in with the card base. You can use white for lettering or look for patterns that have white in them. It helps to create a cohesive card.
Both cards also use Mosaic Moments Scallop Dot Mat Dies and Doodle bug papers.
Stickers and other embellishments can easily be incorporated into your designs. Try buttons, string, lace or ribbon, brads, jewels and more to spiff up your cards.
SnapFixTip: If you plan to mail your card, keep the elements flat, like in the card on the right above. Flat cards go through the machines that sort the mail and will not cost extra because they have to be hand sorted.
Men are often hard to find cards for. But you can easily make one using embellishments, die cuts or photos of things they love. Try a photo of a favorite place they like to go, a special trip they took, or their hobby.
SnapFix Tip: You can often use up those photos that didn't make it on to your scrapbook page for card making. Keep them in a small photo box and when you need to make a card, grab the box and you're ready to go!
Ribbon is a fun way to bring another pattern into a card. If you don't have ribbon that coordinates, cut a thin strip of contrasting paper and stretch it across the card, like Paije did in these adorable graduation cards.
SnapFix Tip: Many paper packs these days come with a sheet of "cards" that have to be cut up. They were designed to be used with pocket scrapbook pages, but they make great embellishments for cards, like the graduation card on the right and the World's Best Dad card and Unicorn card
above.
Leftover photos, especially of nature, become amazing cards with the Mosaic Moments system. Something happens when you cut them into little pieces and then put them on the Grid -- they look better than ever and make for beautiful cards. It's a bit of Mosaic Magic!
SnapFix Tip: This card could easily be used for just about anything, simply by changing out the sentiment and subject of the photos. It would make a beautiful Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthday, Christmas or sympathy card. Go ahed, try it out and see how fun and easy it is!
