With just one cut, you can turn a photo into three 1x2 strips and one 1x1 square using the NEW 3x3 Strip Frame Die. It's quick and super easy and the results are magnificent.
SnapFixTip: Use the center square in the new die to highlight a person, sign or other important, but tiny, feature in the photo, like Paije did in the photos above.
Page Pattern #371 lends itself nicely to the 3x3 Strip Frame, allowing one frame in each corner of the layout, with larger photos in between. Paije chose to mat the larger photos to add additional interest to the design.
SnapFix Tip: When searching for a pattern to use with a shaped die, find the equivalent size in the colored basic dies. In this case, the blue 3x3 square die. Then, look for any layout that includes a 3x3 blue square. When cutting photos, instead of using the blue die, use the 3x3 Strip Frame die (or any
other decorative or shaped die that is the same size.)
