It's the most wonderful time of the year! The holidays are all about family, friends, traditions and fun. There are many representative icons of the season, but today we are focusing on the simplest of shapes -- the circle. Circles can be found in wreaths on the door, a bowl of ornaments on the table, and beaded garland on the tree. Below are some examples of how you can incorporate circles into your
layouts.
How incredible is this layout? Paije used circles to create a tree, complete with a star on top!
SnapFixTip: Using different shades of green adds additional interest to the tree, and allows you to use up scraps.

Page Pattern #409 reminds me of a present all wrapped up in a bow. While many dies can be used across the middle of the page (the ribbon or bow), Paije used the Half Circle Die Set here. Adding the different patterned papers adds to the interest.
SnapFixTip: Have the camera ready when people are opening gifts during the holidays. That way, you can capture the excitement and joy when they discover the perfect gift hiding under the wrapping paper.
The full circle is not only a fabulous frame, but makes an amazing layout design. Watch this full layout demonstration to learn how to use this die. Plus get tips from Paije!
For this layout, Andrea used circles wherever possible -- frames, patterned paper, journaling blocks and even sequins! This repetition creates a strong theme for her girly celebration. Read how she did it by clicking on the red box below.
