What's
especially unique about Mosaic Moments® is, quite obviously, the mosaics! Those little 1-inch squares bring fabulous interest to a layout. While they look like you spent hours and hours working on your pages, with the Mosaic Moments® system, whether you cut by hand or use the dies, it is much easier than you think! Check it out below.
The entire layout does not have to feature mosaics. There are always photos that one does not want to cut into 1-inch squares. Here, Paije mixed it up a bit by using a combination of photos, strips of patterned paper and mosaic squares.
SnapFixTip: Do not cut a person into 1-inch squares unless you can fit their entire head into a single square. Otherwise, you may end up with alien creatures and no one wants that!
Page Pattern No. 395 is ideal for showing off the details. The design offers one focal photo and then a mix of smaller photos, including mosaic sizes, to highlight the details. Here, Paije used close-up photos of the mosaic tiles, rock formation and waterfall.
SnapFix Tip: When looking for a complimentary page for a 2-page layout, look for another page that uses similar size shapes, but in a different way. On this layout, for instance, the mosaic spaces are mostly horizontal on the left page, but vertical on the right. The focal photo is also horizontal on the left,
but vertical on the right. This makes for a great balanced layout.
