Rectangles and squares. That's what Tami Potter, creator of Mosaic Moments, began cutting her photos into. That's when she started noticing details she had not seen before. And that's when the Mosaic Magic began.
Whether you are new to Mosaic Moments or a veteran, take a look at the humble beginnings of rectangles and squares and discover how those simple
shapes can turn your photos into amazing layouts. See page below.
When visiting a new place, it is important to capture the view. Here, Paije used both close-up and distant photos to show off the location. But she also used people in her photos to help show the scale of the trees, cliffs and buildings. Sometimes it is imperative that we step back.
SnapFixTip: Tuck photo corners, cut from patterned paper, behind your photo on a few of the corners to repeat the pattern used as a mat on the focal photo.

This layout is made up of three columns. Columns are great when you have vertical photos. This one holds five -- or 10 if you did a two-page spread. You could also include two small horizontal photos or journaling blocks in place of the decorative elements Paije used.
SnapFix Tip: When you have extra space on your page, fill it up with patterned paper and a border. On the layout above, Paije used the Herringbone Border Die on striped paper to create a beautiful architectural accent.
The Basic Die Sets are the foundations of the Mosaic Moments die system. They cut both to fit the Grid Paper and a smaller shape for when you want a photo mat or layers. See how it all works be clicking below.
Before you leave for vacation, or maybe during the plane trip, take some time to look at some of these favorite vacation designs. It helps to have some ideas in mind before you go so you know some of the things you will want to photograph.
SnapFix Tip: Use the Nested Pocket Die
Set to hold brochures, tickets and other pieces of memorabilia you bring home.
