Mosaic
Moments makes dies to cut nearly every shape that fits the Grid Paper. But sometimes we need something bigger. Or, maybe we only own some of the dies or we do not have a die-cutting machine. What do we do then? We grab a knife, a ruler and the Mosaic Moments Double Sided Mat and we get to creating!
Long strips of patterned paper can add emotion and help set the mood or theme of your page. The grid lines on the Mosaic Moments Double Sided Mat match the grid on the paper perfectly, so you just line it up and cut with an craft knife and a metal ruler.
SnapFixTip: Practice on scrap paper and photos before making your first cut. The less pressure you apply, the more control you will have. Photos take more pressure to cut through than thin paper, so practice cutting a couple of times before you dive in.
Long strips of paper can make the perfect title. When cutting a title on the mat, use the back side to make rectangles longer than 1-inch. The back side of the cutting mat includes the tiny space between the grid lines, so you don't have to do any math.
SnapFix Tip: Tear the edge of your paper to add a rustic look to your page.

Telling a story is why we scrapbook. Sometimes the photos can tell the story on their own, but other times we need to explain things, share stories or describe something. When we have a lot to say, we need a lot of space to say it. Here Andrea shows you a clever way to easily make multiple journaling blocks for her
page.
