Create a Feminine Touch

Hearts, like flowers, are great additions to just about any feminine page. They always seem to work, whether or not they are part of the theme of your page. Cut them out of calico patterned papers and they simply become girly accents.

SnapFix Tip: Create a border around the entire page by mixing a border die, like the heart die shown here, with a few squares of patterned paper and you have just upped the cute factor.

Pets are Loved, too

Love is about more than just the person you are romantically involved with. Hearts make great accents on a page about pets, hobbies, friends, interests and family.

SnapFix Tip: Hearts are also good for filling in those little leftover spots on the Grid Paper. Cut them from different colors/patterns of paper and no one will suspect they were an afterthought.

"Soul Mate" by Candy Spiegel

Grid Paper: 12x12 Brick

Wow! This layout was created before dies existed, but you should be able to recreate it using the dies listed above. The center embellishments were cut from the patterned paper and mounted with dimensional foam adhesive. To create the texture behind the hearts, run your square of white cardstock through an embossing folder and then lightly ink the top with a stamp pad. Then layer hearts on top. Simple, but amazingly beautiful!
