The Basic Nested Die Bundle is the
foundation of the Mosaic Moments Die Cutting System. The dies cut the same shapes and sizes that can be cut by hand, using the Mosaic Moments Mat, but quicker & easier. If you are one of those who struggle with getting perfectly straight cuts, they are lifesavers, since you will get perfectly straight squares and rectangles that are exactly the right size every single time.
The Basic Nested Die Bundle comes with dies that fit the grid perfectly, as well as those that are slightly smaller and can be used to create matted photos. When you look at the package your dies come in, you will see the solid colored shapes -- the ones that fit the grid
perfectly, as well as dotted shapes -- those are for creating matted photos. Mats are used to help your photos stand out or to make your photos fit the grid.
SnapFixTip: It doesn't all have to be the same ... consider mixing photos that are matted with ones that aren't, like Paije did on the layout above.
Photo mats do not have to be the same color. Consider mixing colors to add interest to the pages. And, use the decorative dies to add custom elements to your pages.
SnapFix Tip: The strips of patterned paper across the bottom of the layout above can be created two ways ... with one of the dies from the Basic Nested Die Bundle, cut 10 times, or with the 1x2 Strip Die, cut twice.
