Andrea's "Queen of Hearts"
In honor of Valentine's Day, the Design Team Members were challenged to create pages with Hearts. Andrea did a wonderful job making a page inspired by the Queen of Hearts - perfect with the heart theme!

Journella post: "Welcome to the February Challenge: Become the Queen of Hearts. This time we were to create a layout using...hearts! Perfect for Valentine's memories, Love themes or as I did, photos of someone who has totally captured the hearts of all around her...let me introduce you
to the newest member of our family...Queen of Hearts...Amelia Jane ...I wanted to incorporate a couple of things in this layout that we have used before in our team challenges one was the "series of photos" from last summer. The other was an oversized title from the previous year.
This time the series of photos appear along the bottom edge of page one. They are matted as playing cards with the photo rounded and cropped to fill the centers and punched hearts placed in the corners.READ MORE...

Do you have a lot of scraps left over from your pages? Sometimes we are not able to use every Paper Tile or pattern paper we've collected. If you still have scraps, Andrea has a couple of solutions for you!
Here is a glimpse of her post:
"...today you'll see a quick way to make a decoration/tag for a gift with that heart and a second item that can be a décor piece or part of a larger ongoing project.
First, to make this
tag you will need the heart center from the frame. Additionally, I used scraps to create an arrow point and fletching's. I layered several bits of paper ( leftovers from cutting the quilt circles used in the second project) for the point and then used an X-Acto knife to create a slit in the straw to cradle the point.
I took a small rectangle trimmed it to fit the end and used a couple of glue dots to apply. Positioning the arrow in the direction that I wanted it to sit I used the X-Acto knife to slice a line parallel to the edge to slide the straw through at both the top and bottom. "
