Enrich your memories and scrapbooking experiences in 2014 by joining our Mosaic Moments "Design Your Moment" Challenge/Contest.

Each month we will issue a challenge inspired by popular books and classic literature. Challenge Details will be sent out the first week of each month in our Mosaic Moments E-Newsletter. (We'll also post reminders to Facebook.) We ask that you post YOUR challenge pages on the JOURNELLA.COM website along side the Mosaic Moments 2014 design team.

The winner will be determined by: 75% - the number of comments received (each commenter will only be counted once) plus 25% design, creativity, & story (what you have written about the page).

THIS ORGANIZATION SET... Will ALSO BE GIVEN TO A FAN (a commenter) of the WINNING Page! So, tell your friends to add their comments - because they could win along side you!

Even if you don't participate in the contest (or have a Friend who did) you should come and comment - the more challenge posts you comment on the better your chances of winning this set!

We are beginning our Design Your Moment Challenges with a classic - Create a Mosaic Moments™ page inspired by The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen. Get Tips and Ideas Here.

Post Deadline: January 15th.

COMMENTS will be counted through January 26th.

Here are the Guidelines* for the challenges:

POST your page on JOURNELLA.COM (Posting on Facebook WILL NOT count). You can use your facebook credentials to create an account on Journella.com - just click the "sign in with facebook" button.

NO Copyright Images. Do not use images obtained from the internet or other sources - only photos that belong to you.

MOSAIC MOMENTS™ Grid Paper must be used to create your page. The foundation of the page must be Mosaic Moments Grid paper. You are free to use any additional embellishments and pattern paper you would like.

Must Post by the Deadline - We will not accept late challenges. We will need time to judge and count the votes, and also give time for others to comment. So please post to Journella on time. Deadline also applies to any comments. The earlier you post, the more comments you are likely to receive. You will have about 2 weeks from the time the challenge is posted to create your page and get it posted on Journella.com.

Winner will be Determined by: 75% - the number of comments received (each commenter will only be counted once) plus 25% design, creativity, & presentation/story.

Be sure to share your page to facebook and Let your friends know to comment on your post.

No time to create a Page? You can win anyway!

If you do not have time to create a page, there is another chance to win the prize. A second winner will be chosen from the list of comments of the winning Post. The more challenge posts you comment on (only one comment per post will be accepted), the more chances you have to win!

Have a goal to add a whole year's worth of events in your album for 2014? Andrea shows how to create simple pages to document your photos and events quickly and easily. Here is a peek of her post:

"When you make your New Year's resolutions do you promise to take more photos this year... To scrapbook more often... To get those photos off of your SD card? I've got a way to help you accomplish a year with ease...

The key here is to take photos throughout the month, upload to a file specific for the month, separate by date, choose the one that best represents that day/event, print, punch, and attach. How much journaling you add to your layout is up to you. The grid pattern allows you to choose the size of photos and papers and arrangement you want to use.
