My pre-page-design list (The story I wanted to share on this page):
1. Where we were. (California Beach)
2. Why we were there. (To watch the sun set)
3. What happened while we were there. (Caught off guard by a big wave)
4. The "happy ending". (Dry clothes for Cole)

May's Mosaic Moments Challenge: Monochromatic Photos
Choose a Color and let it inspire the photos you take.
As I thought about this page I decided to use Orange. After brainstorming, I took photographs of objects I found around my house that represent what I think of this color. Here is a page example using Monochromatic photographs:
When
creating this page think of a specific theme and mood you would like to
portray. This will help you brainstorm what type of photographs to take
when you pick your color. Think of themes that say something about you
or something you would like to remember in your life.

Three Columns with Photo Strip Borders
Page Pattern Description: This page pattern is made up into three different columns.
First and Last Columns: These columns are exactly the same. Starting from the top, these rows begin with a 3.25w x 2.125h block, next is a column of five 3.25w x 1 strips, and last is a 3.25 in square block.
Middle Column: The middle column starts with a 4.375w x 5.5h block, with a 4.375 in. square below it. At the bottom is a row of four 1 in. squares.
This page was made with this month's feature grid paper, Periwinkle, and two of the Paper Tiles(TM) Trio colors, Ivory and Sand:
"Ferry Ride" supplies used: This page was created using Mosaic Moments(TM) 12x12 Periwinkle grid paper. Sand and Ivory Paper Tiles(TM) were used for matting photographs and a 2011 Four Square Cornerstone was used as an embellishment.
A new pattern is added to the Page Pattern Blog every week. Check out over 80 different patterns!Featuring Shannon's Blast from the Past
Check
out Shannon's "Far Out" Mosaic Moments(TM) layout. This month the design
team was challenged to create a page inspired by the decade they were
born. Shannon's page totally says 70's! Her layout is colorful, fun and
shows off her personality. She chose fun colors and fonts that fit into
her decade. She also picked photographs that fit with the challenge.
Shannon created a layout that inspires us to have fun with our pages and to look at inspirational styles from the past. She did a good job portraying the decade she was born, and her photos and her page layout fit together to create her theme.
You can check out Shannon's post here. Cheer Shannon and the rest of the Design Team Members each month on Journella.

Last
month we gave out a challenge to get at least 50 individuals to cheer
on Journella. Only 8 people (outside of the Design Team) cheered :( We
really need some more Team Spirit! Although we feature some of the pages
on Facebook, we still need cheers on Journella.
Special shout out to Dianne Mahn! She cheered the most this month on Journella. Thanks Dianne!
Happy Scrapping!
