You know those pages that feel sweet and finished… but you can’t quite put your finger on why?
That’s the magic of the Charmed
dies.
They add soft curves and “window-like” shapes that instantly make your photos feel special—without taking over the whole page. You still get that calm, happy grid structure we all love… but with a little extra charm (the kind that makes you pause and say, ohhh… that’s
pretty).
And you’re going to love what our Design Team created with these. They used Charmed to frame everyday moments in such a simple, elegant way—clean layouts, beautiful balance, and just enough detail to make the photos shine.
If you’ve been craving an easy way to dress up your pages while keeping them photo-first… this is it.
Have a
you're-worth-it week!

✨ Meet the Charmed Dies:
The Sweet Spot Between Structure & Style
"Time in the Eastern Shore" (Side A) by Paije Potter - Pattern #889
Dies needed to create this look:
Charmed 4x6 & 2x4a
Basic Die Bundle A-E & 1" Grid -includes some layer dies
Layering Die Bundle Colored A-L through E-L -additional layering options
Ever struggle with this?
You want your two-page spread to coordinate… but not look copy-and-paste identical.
You want it interesting… but not chaotic. You want it cohesive… but still creative.
That’s exactly where the Charmed 4x6 and 2x4 dies shine.
On the first page, Paije created two rows of three circular rings using the Charmed 4x6 and Charmed 2x4a (plus one half circle). The circles are bold and noticeable—but not overwhelming. They’re large enough to crop photos easily, and the soft curves instantly elevate the page.
"Time in the Eastern Shore" (Full) by Paije Potter - Pattern #889 & #383
On the second page, she used only the 2x4a Charmed die—placing two half circles together to create four full circles across the page. One photo per circle. Clean. Intentional. Balanced.
Here’s why it works so beautifully:
Same grid color
Same patterned papers
Same colored cardstock
Same Charmed die set
But she changed the arrangement.
She used different patterns with
similar elements. She varied the 2x2 mats. She used the dies differently on each side.
That
coordination-without-duplication is what makes the spread so fun to look at. Your eye moves across the page. There’s harmony… and interest.
And it all starts with the soft structure of the Charmed dies.

"Ross at the Pumpkin Patch" by Jodi Benson - Pattern #651

If you’re newer to Mosaic Moments or still building confidence with dies, this is your reassurance:
You can use the Charmed dies.
One of our favorite examples is a bright, happy fall layout with the Charmed circles lined up in a row across the middle of the page. Simple. Cheerful. Photo-focused.
Start there.
Try recreating the layout above with Pattern 651 using the Charmed dies and your own photos. Don’t overthink it. Line them up across the grid. Crop your photos into the circles. Add coordinating mats.
Then play.
Move Charmed die cuts around your page. Add more Charmed die cuts. Try different 2x4 dies together. The more you use them, the more
natural they feel—and the faster you’ll create layouts you truly love.
Confidence doesn’t come before creating. It comes from creating.

💫 The 2x4 Charmed Die
(Formerly “Going in Circles”)
"Cousins and CW" (Side B) by Jodi Benson - Pattern #368
Dies needed to create this look:
Charmed 2x4b (formerly Going in Circles)
Basic Die Bundle A-E & 1" Grid - includes some layer dies
The 2x4b Charmed die—previously called Going in Circles—features two half circles facing opposite directions. On its own, it creates beautiful movement across a page. Jodi used it independently to frame photos of interest from her trip, and the result is clean, modern, and full of energy.
It also pairs perfectly with the 4x6 and 2x4a Charmed dies—adding layered or overlapping circle effects that bring even more dimension to your layouts.
The Charmed dies are worth your time.
And more importantly—you are worth the time.
Your hobby has value. The hours you spend preserving memories have value. The act of creating has value.
Research shows that scrapbooking stimulates neuroplasticity—the formation of new neural pathways in the brain. It strengthens memory, supports cognitive function, and helps ground you in the present while reflecting on meaningful moments from the past.
Preserving and recounting good memories reduces stress and anxiety. Happiness and nostalgia positively impact both mental and physical health. The simple act of arranging photos, choosing colors, and designing your page strengthens neural networks and keeps your brain engaged.
One of my favorite things about the Mosaic Moments Circle Community is how kind, creative, and encouraging everyone is. Every week, I see friendships forming, ideas being shared, and pages that make me want to pull out my dies and start cutting right away.
