This summer, our house has been full—in the best kind of way.
Our three adult children, our son-in-law, and our adorable granddaughter have
all been staying with us. It’s been a little cozy, a little chaotic, and a whole lot of wonderful.
Of course, it took some rearranging to make it all work—shuffling sleeping spaces, squeezing extra chairs around the table, finding little corners for quiet moments. But somehow, all
the pieces came together. And honestly, the joy of being together as a family made every bit of effort worth it.
It reminded me so much of putting together a scrapbook page—especially when I’m using the Corner Cut-Out Dies.
At first, it can feel a little tricky. You’re trimming away corners, moving photo pieces around… and it might not look like much in the beginning. But as each piece finds its place on the grid, the magic happens. Everything clicks into place, and suddenly, the whole page tells a story that feels complete and beautiful.
So whether it’s family filling up your home or photos filling up your layout, sometimes it just takes a little thoughtful arranging to create something truly meaningful.
Have a you're-worth-it week!

Jodi’s Colonial Williamsburg 4th Festivities layout captures the joy, pride, and tradition of celebrating Independence Day with family. You can feel the warmth in every
image—siblings smiling in their matching USA shirts, parades marching by, flags waving, and kids exploring hand in hand under the summer sun.
But what really sets this page apart is the simple yet brilliant twist she gave her design using the Kitty Corner Dies and 2x2 Corner Cut-Out die. Notice how the central patterned squares radiate around the “4th of July” star in a quilt-like burst of energy. The Kitty Corner Dies slice into each block just enough to give the whole page movement and structure—without overpowering the photos. They’re small changes, but they completely refresh the page.
The Corner Cut-Our die tucks in seamlessly around the edges, creating a center pattern paper frame, reinforcing the color flow and tying everything together. The result? A layout that’s balanced, dynamic, and full of personality.
Sometimes all it takes is one new angle—literally—to unlock a layout that feels fresh, fun, and filled with heart.
If you’re looking to try something different without overcomplicating your process, the Kitty Corner Dies are the perfect place to start. Small cuts, big impact.

Tonight, be sure to catch our new scrapbook flip through video! Paije will be highlighting our Cutting Corners Dies, the Corner Strips and the Steps dies. Since there were so many amazing layouts - it was decided to make the Cutting Corners into two videos. So,
catch part 2 later this month!
Paije’s Badlands 2021 layout is a perfect example of how precision dies create clean, cohesive pages that tell your story with
style.
The design uses the Two Corner Cut-Out die from the Corner Cut-Out Collection to frame the most powerful moments from this father-son adventure. Photos are arranged with intention—each cut aligns perfectly, pulling your eye from one
scenic overlook to the next.
Look closer and you’ll notice the 1-inch grid die from the Basic Set was used to create stunning mosaic panels. These tiles echo the layered ridges of the Badlands themselves, adding rhythm and texture to the
page without overwhelming the photos.
But what really ties it all together? The color story. Muted sand tones from the landscape blend seamlessly into the soft beige grid background of 12x12 Sand Ripples Grid Paper. Accents of deep gray and dusty teal in the photo mats mirror the subtle earth tones in the photos and give just enough contrast to highlight key images—like the snapshot of the two travelers standing together.
The result is crisp, calm, and confident—no
extra fuss, just polished storytelling.
And thanks to Mosaic Moments dies, it all comes together effortlessly.

Paije’s Fun
in the Snow layout is a beautiful example of how to create visual balance without adding extra bulk or distraction.
With her clever use of the Four Corner Cut-Out Die and the Corner Cut-Out
Die, she crafts a page that feels open, clean, and perfectly organized—even with a flurry of action-packed photos.
This snowy sledding adventure is bursting with movement, and yet the composition gently guides your eye from moment to moment—thanks to the natural framing of
the Corner Cut-Out die cuts. The distinct shapes of the Four Corner Cut-Out die cuts carve out just enough space around each image, giving every memory its own spotlight while still working together as a cohesive design.
The die-cut structure does the heavy lifting—no extra layers
or embellishments needed. Paije let the story shine through the photos themselves: joyful rides down the hill, bundled-up smiles, and the crisp sparkle of winter. The result is an emotionally rich layout that feels just as peaceful and fun as the day it captures.
Design tip: Use Corner Cut-Out dies to create this kind of balance, especially when you want to showcase lots of photos. You’ll keep your page feeling light and flowing—no clutter, just clarity.
