MOSAIC MOMENTS® PRESENTS:
"Nature Trail with Sadie" by Paije Potter - Pattern #368
Hello
I laughed so hard all week I thought I’d burst.
My brother and his wife came to visit us here in Virginia. It was one of those sweltering weeks where the heat keeps you indoors—and honestly, I didn’t mind. We enjoyed the cool air while we hung out, talked, and listened to
my brother tell story after story, each one funnier than the last.
Moments like that are why I scrapbook. It’s not just about the photos—it’s about the stories that go with them. The laughter. The personality that lives in those little everyday moments. (Like how our son, Nick, just got us laughing again when he asked, "Did you know Chuck
Norris has a bear rug in his home?" (comedic pause) "It isn't dead. - It's just too scared to move." 😂)
Are you ready to turn your memories into pages that pull people in and get them smiling?
This week Mosaic Moments is celebrating one of our popular die collections—Horizon. If you’re ready to skip the overwhelm that comes with blank paper and no plan, scroll down and take a look. The Design Team has put together some beautiful (and fun!) Horizon ideas to get you moving.
Have a you're-worth-it week!

Feeling overwhelmed trying to design the “perfect” scrapbook page? Here’s a little secret: simpler choices can lead to stunning results—and this beach layout is a great example of how to keep things stress-free and beautiful.
Tip 1: Stick to a theme This layout sticks to one moment—one day at the beach—and that makes everything easier. When you focus on a single story, it’s easier to pick your best photos and keep the layout cohesive.
Tip 2: Limit your color palette The cool blues,
sandy tans, and ocean-themed patterned paper create a calming, unified feel. No need to sort through every color of cardstock in your stash—just pick a few that match your photos and stick with them!
Tip 3: Let the Horizon Dies do the design work The circular frame
(created with the Horizon Dies) instantly pulls your layout together. No guessing where to put things—it all flows naturally around the page. That structure gives you freedom to focus on the fun stuff, like reliving the memories.
Tip 4: Use repetition for visual balance Repeating shapes, colors, and waves of paper across the page gives it rhythm and calm. It’s not just pretty—it helps reduce decision fatigue. You don’t need to reinvent each section. When in doubt, repeat what’s working!
If you’re feeling stuck or unsure how to begin, try this: choose a moment you loved, a handful of photos, and a
favorite die like Horizon. Keep it simple, and let the story shine. Overwhelm? Gone. Confidence? On the rise.

This page just makes me smile—from the bright patterned papers to the joyful moments captured in every photo.
It’s pure fun, and the Horizon 3x3 and 3x4 dies pull it all together beautifully.
You can almost hear the laughter, feel the sunshine, and relive the magic of the day just by following the gentle curve around the page. That’s what I love about Horizon—it doesn’t distract from the story, it enhances it. The circle design gives your
layout a sense of movement and joy, without being fussy or complicated. It helps you tell your story clearly and creatively—while keeping the focus right where it belongs: on the people and the memories.
This layout shows just how easy it is to blend playful elements with heartfelt storytelling—and Horizon makes it all flow together
seamlessly.
The Horizon Die Sets are full of rounded possibilities for your layouts. Did you know the original…
