CHANGES ARE COMING! There has been a lot going on at
Mosaic Moments. You may have heard, our US die manufacturer suddenly closed. Big decisions are underway. This wasn’t so much of a choice—it was a must-do to keep Mosaic Moments moving forward.
We’ve always been intentional about protecting this business and our community by making smart, sustainable
decisions. (It hasn't been easy watching so many friends in the industry disappear.) Our goal is to continueoffering you great products, education, & ideas for many years to come. This requires a full switch to an overseas die manufacturer and significant changes to the way we purchase and sell dies. These changes bring great benefits too!
Biggest Benefit: LOWER PRICES! (We can all get excited about that, right?)
THE BIG CHANGES: Instead of keeping dies in stock year-round, we will be releasing dies in limited quantities on a
schedule. Some dies will return in future releases, others will not, most dies will not be available more often than once per year.
Each month we will release a "Feature Die List" aka Cutting Edge News. It will come via email (watch for the banner shown above), text, and posts on social media. The goal is to let everyone know which dies will be available well in advance of the DIE DROP DATE.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
The feature dies listed will be the only dies available.
The Cutting Edge News announcement will include the date and time the dies will drop into the shopping cart (Snapncrop.com). See something you want? - Set a notification! (or sign up for text alerts)
Dies will be featured for about 4 weeks. You will receive informative emails and see social media posts about the featured dies for about 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after the "Die Drop Date".
Dies will be limited in quantity - sold while supplies last.
This change also means wewon’t be able to do pre-orders for new dies like we've done in the past. We know this is a big shift. Change isn’t always easy, and you may have questions. We’re here to walk through this transition with you and make sure you feel just as excited about what’s ahead as we do.
Another BENEFIT! - SnapFix email will start coming to your inbox twice a week starting in May! We are going to start sending emails each Tuesday & Thursday starting in May, so you will get even more great tips and inspiration!

Instead of cutting your photos into typical rectangles and squares, cut them into circles and unique shapes!
The Spin Off die cuts are a special way to put this fresh spin on your
photos. The die cuts are bisected by a long shallow arc, splitting the die into two sides. The larger side includes a circle frame—perfect for the photos you want to showcase. You can fill the remaining spots with more photos to help tell your story, or fill them with patterned paper and cardstock. The die cuts can be rotated four different ways to make four unique layouts.

Putting Together a Spin Off Layout
Watch Paije show you how to put together the Spin Off page. She'll give you helpful tips for your dies, and you'll get a great example to try with your own photos.
Use "textured" photos such as sand in your Spin Off die cuts.
Use the layering circle dies to bring attention to your main photographs and then fill the other sections with textured
photos. Jodi used photos of her daughter's sand drawings from a recent trip to the beach to fill the outside corners of her Spin Off die cuts. The textured sand photos are even better than patterned paper because they are not only beautiful and captivating, but they tell the story of her more prominent photos framed in the Spin Off die cut circles.
What
story will you tell next with your terrific texture photos in your Spin Off die cuts?
Turn the Spin Off die cuts to show a pinwheel shape.
You can emphasize the Spin Off die cut shapes and the overall Pinwheel shape with a contrasting paper. This is another great way to
use your Spin Off die cuts and make a different layout. The contrasting red patterned paper in Paije's layout above makes an interesting pinwheel shape which highlights the summer season and the fun hiking adventure. The way her Spin Off die cuts are swiveled make the pinwheel shape really large. If you recall Jodi'e layout before this one, the pinwheel shape she made with bright pink paper was much smaller.
Both are wonderful ways to swivel your Spin Off die cuts for super fun pinwheel patterns.
