Customize Your Floral Dies

"Charly's Blessing" by Jodi Benson - Pattern #100

Keep your layouts fresh and fun by customizing your floral die cuts, take the Sixlet for example.

You could try cutting each Sixlet flower into different colors or just use one color for all of them on your layout. You can have as many colors as you have different colored paper or you can have one colored flower and one colored background. With the Sixlet die, you can add the mini circle to the center of the flowers and you can choose your colors there too. You can also add gems, sparkles, or paint dots for a special embellishment.

Jodi styled all of her Sixlet flowers on her layout above, with blue 1x3 backgrounds, all white petals, and yellow mini circles in the centers of the flowers.

Try all kinds of variations of your floral die cuts. You can match colors in your photos, your pattern paper, your theme, and try combinations you have not tried out before. You'll love the fresh results that are perfect for your spring pages.

Try Fun Color Palettes for Your Flower Die Cuts

Use fun color palettes for your flower die cuts like the Loop De Loop.

You can really mix things up and explore new color combinations you have never tried before. If you're using pattern paper, try using the colors you see in the paper that designers have put together. Your floral die cuts will coordinate with the design. You can also pull colors from your photos. And you can make pallets for your floral dies from Mosaic Moments pages, paint samples, pinterest or other sources and combinations you see in your everyday life. Jodi matched colors from her pattern paper and created a playful layout.

Try the fun flower die, Loop De Loop, which lends itself to frolicsome color palettes!
