Marvelous Mushrooms Page Kit

Marvelous Mushrooms page kit features paper from American Crafts™. There is a blue floral pattern paper cut into 1 inch strips, and a tiny mushroom pattern paper with a light background. "Hogle Zoo 2022" (Full) by Paije Potter

Above is Paije's finished two page spread.

She added all of her favorite photos from the Hogle Zoo. She placed her pic of Alexis and Chloe at the zoo's main sign as the focal photo, so that it is where your eye is drawn first. The zoo sign goes across the photo in the center as if it is the layout's title. Paije also added her journaling around the Fanciful Frame's edge. The journaling not only adds to the story, but it is a decoration which emphasizes the curves of the frame and adds to the cuteness of this adorable layout. The page kit, Marvelous Mushrooms is perfect for a fall outing with baby.

Page Kits for the Little Ones

"Quinny's Adventure" (Side A) by Jodi Benson

Page Kits make great layouts to display your best photos of your children and grandchildren.

We have many kits that are bright, colorful, and perfect for the energetic younger generations. For example, this kit is Falling Leaves 3 and Quinny's photos look stellar on the bright mats. Jodi used photos of her granddaughter's walk in the woods for this fun fall kit. The colorful pattern paper and mats match the excitement and energy of the children.

Falling Leaves 3 Page Kit

Falling Leaves 3 features Doodlebug™ pattern paper. The purple leaf pattern paper is cut into 1 inch strips that work together with the multi-colored leaf pattern paper cut into 2x2 design spots for a bright fall page kit. The brightly colored mats will catch your eye and draw you to your photos.

"Quinny's Adventure" (Side A) by Jodi Benson

Jodi added a title "Quinny's Adventure" with the Alphabet 3 dies using the extra edges of the ivory paper from the kit.

She also added two Leaf Cornerstones™ in a green cardstock from her own stash to the two 2x2 ivory design spots that come with the kit. She cropped most of her photos with the Layering Die Bundle to get crisp 1/8th edges of colorful cardstock mats. Her little Quinny's photos pop on this fun bright page kit. Jodi loved how her grandchild's photos seem to sparkle on the final layout of her Falling Leaves 3 Page Kit.

Page Kits Work with Older Photos

"A Fall Day at Grandma's" (Side A) by Amanda Jones

If you're like us, you have a lot of older photos tucked away that you never scrapbooked.

Page kits are a great way to use those older, especially nostalgic, pics. The older photos may not be a great fit for more intense Adventure Level (L3) die layouts, but they will always fit on Page Kits. Plus, Page Kits are extremely adaptable. You can easily alter mats and layouts to fit your photos.

Amanda had some dusty photos of her kids playing in the woods at their Grandma's house that she wanted to find a layout for. The Falling Leaves 2 page kit was her first choice, but her photos did not quite fit. So, she altered the kit to find a space for all of her photos to help tell the whole story of the fall day.

Falling Leaves 2 Page Kit

Here is how Falling Leaves 2 looks straight from the package when completed. There is a two page leafy 1x1 inch mosaic along the bottom of the kit and a red patterned paper 1 inch strip near the top that crosses across both sides as well. The pattern paper is from Echo Park™. You'll also get 2 extra white mats for your special fall photos or journaling.

"A Fall Day at Grandma's" (Full) by Amanda Jones

Amanda kept the mats on the first page of the page kit as they came from the package, but she altered the second page's mats.

With the Basic Die Bundle, she created a two 2x3 mats and two 3x3 on the top row from two 3x5 mats. She also cut one of the 4x5 mats into two 2x3 mats and two 2x2 mats. She then took the extra white layering mats and made layering mats for one of the brown 2x2s and one of the brown 2x3s. In this way, she was able to add five more photos than she would have had previously. For more color, she added extra pieces of the leaf pattern paper underneath every other photo on the top row of her pages. Plus, she added her title and date (year) to the 1 inch strip of red pattern paper on both sides of the layout using Alphabet 3 dies and the unused edges of the white paper from the kit.

Amanda loved the finished product and how all of her older photos fit on the Falling Leaves 2 Page Kit.

You can use Page Kits easily for your older photos, and you'll love finding different ways of altering Page Kits, because it's a snap!
