I am a planner.
When one trip or event comes to an end, I am on to planning the next. My scrapbook pages reflect this. Most pages are focused on those well planned days. However, I realize that many of the best moments in my life fall between the trips and events.
So, I'm making more effort to include the day to day, unscheduled moments, in my scrapbooks. It might sound crazy; but, I've found that week and month in review pages are becoming my favorites!

Your review pages don't have to show extra exciting moments.
You can create a layout showing a normal week in the life, like Jodi did for a week in January. Your trips to Greece and Rome should be scrapbooked; however, you'll also love looking back on those routine moments when you were simply going about your daily life. And, it's those day to day moments that really tell the story of your life.
While it may sound mundane, your home and daily life photos can make a gorgeous week in the life scrapbook page!
Here's another week in the life layout idea, but with journaling included.
Journaling not only adds to your story, it's also an appealing design element. Paije surrounded her focal point, the journal entry, with 1x1 mosaic squares of patterned paper making it a beautiful feature on the page.
As you can see, everyday weekly layouts can look just as beautiful and captivating as your more exciting travel and 'big life event' pages.
