MOSAIC MOMENTS® PRESENTS:
"I am Three!" by Tami Potter
Hello
When I was a little girl I remember going through the pages of my mother's Book of Remembrance. I loved looking at the pictures and reading the things she wrote. I would search diligently - looking for photos or any little sentence that included something about
me.
The desire to know my personal history, stuck with me. It made me want to provide more of that kind of documentation for my own family.
Right now, my children may say I take too many pictures. However, I believe one day, they'll be grateful they can look back through albums filled with their childhood memories. They will always have something special, to remind them where they came from, and how much they are
loved.
If you have little ones you love, don't miss our list of article links below for 14 Scrapbook ideas for Kids - and more!
And give yourself a pat on the back today - for being the one who preserves memories. It is a rewarding way to spend time and I am glad we are doing it together!
Happy Scrappin,
Tami Potter
Embellish the Childhood Memories
"A Snow Day Snowman" by Jodi Benson - Pattern #674
Use your scrapbook pages to really embellish your stories - including the wonderful memories of childhood.
On any layout, the photos tell the main story line - in this case it's Jodi's two youngest children building an adorable snowman on a snow day off of school. But, she embellished the story further by adding sparkling snowflake and mitten die cuts. Not only are these designs perfect for a fun day in the snow, but we love that Jodi added some sparkle - representing the beauty of the season and this wonderful
memory.
We hope Jodi's children will easily see that this was a fun and beautiful winter day.
Need some Inspiration for a childhood layout? - Andrea created this adorable layout inspired by Eric Carle's illustration style. This colorful and bright style is perfect for a
childhood page!
"Jones Snow - 2018" by Lauren Jones - Pattern #686
We think the Whimsy die collection is a wonderful choice for childhood memories.
The curves on the Whimsy layout design are so fun and delightful - just like how this day looks! Lauren was able to place nine different photos of her children enjoying the snow, so this page is filled with multiple expressions and creative snow friends. We think Lauren's children will want to view this layout over and over again to remember such a fun day!
Look at your dies or die collections and see which ones represent childhood memories to you.
We think exciting or adventurous childhood memories need an amazing die to go with them!
Paije chose the double X Factor dies to embellish this winter layout of her younger brother playing in his little igloo. Doesn't the center border seem exciting and fun? We think the design matches the feel of the photos. Any child (especially older ones) will think the look of the X Factor die collection is so cool!
Have your children or grandchildren been on any adventures? X Factor and many other adventure level dies would be perfect!
