Sometimes I am really well prepared. I like to plan and organize; but, there are those days when life sneaks up on me, and I find myself wishing I'd done something different, like buying a pair of mittens, before the first snowfall.
Sometimes you just have to work with what you've got. Like a pair of socks. They might not make the perfect mittens, but they can help protect little fingers in a pinch.
I love the page shown in the banner above - it reminds me how creative my daughter is. She didn't have a hat to put on the snowman's head; but, that shortfall didn't get in her way. The lid to our grill was black and Mr. Snow got a unique hat.
We all have those "make it work" situations. Looking back, those moments are the ones that wind up making the best memories - and the best pages!

On the left layout is a traditional "On the Dot" page design with the 4x4 size in the center and the 2x4 dies circling it. Paije opted for the "On the Dot Bow" die for a rounded touch. This spread would seem too busy if the same page design was repeated - so, Paije placed the "On the Dot" dies in a row for a harmonious look.

There are multiple ways you can fill in your calendar pages. Shown above, Paije kept her page simple by not filling in each square, so you can see all of the calendar lines.
