Isn't it crazy how fast we can forget the things we've done?
That is one of the reasons I particularly love this scrapbook season. My favorite pages are collections of random photos, pieced together, to create: a year in review, a month in review, or a week in review. Flipping through review pages is like a jump back in time. It can really bring things into perspective.
Possibly the best part, of this type of page, is that you can plan them well in advance. We have many different ideas to inspire review pages. (Scroll down to see our examples for 2021.)
I hope that you will make a goal in the coming New Year to create your own monthly review pages. Take some time to create a few layouts, to be filled in with photos at the end of each month. When you get the pages filled in, share them with all of us in the Crop & Share: Mosaic Moments Facebook Group. We love to see what you are up to!
Happy Scrappin,
Tami Potter
Year in Review with Perfect Spots
"The Bensons' Year 2021" by Jodi Benson
Jodi used the Perfect Spots die set to create a fabulous Year in Review Layout.
Each design spot has a different picture for each month of the year. Her center circles have a natural photo to show the season - flowers for spring, leaves for fall, etc. She used the 2x2 #4 dies for the year, and matching Alphabet 4 dies for her months on the 1x4 strips of blue patterned paper. She used the Perfect Spots insert for the smile in the center of her page.
This is a Year in Review page that you can easily duplicate and make your own! Click the red button below to see more ideas for Year in Review pages.

"A Year To Remember: 2021" by Paije Potter - Pattern #101
In January, we featured this layout to introduce the new 2x2 #2 Dies!
Now each square is all filled up, and it's so super easy to fill and create this page. There's no journaling needed except the year with this layout so if you are hesitant to add writing to your scrapbook pages, this is a great Year in Review layout for you.
Paije used an ombré patterned paper to mat her photos. Photos are cropped with the 2x2 layering die from the Layering Die Bundle and the mats were cut with the Basic Die Bundle 2x2 die.
Click the red button below to see even more great Year in Review page ideas.
Paije cut rectangles with the 3x4 Die from set C and then cut the photos with the 3x3 Layering sized die from Basic Set A. This also gives you plenty of room to journal and remember all of the details of the photos.
Here' s the complete two page spread.
Paije chose a great pattern, and divided her photos into seasonal sections by adding Alphabet dies on her vertical 1x4 strips. She wrote the months as a journaling title underneath each large photo. We also love the 1x1" photos that border the bottom and top of each page. It's such a great detail.
Notice how the colors she chose gives her layout a bright modern look.
